Sydney resident. Surry Hills is a much nicer option. This is close to Chinatown area so has a complete different vibe. Personally wouldn’t choose to stay here (only good to collect a brand badge which I will do in a few weeks). Area can be lively and therefore may be noisy at times (although is slightly removed from some of the action).
