You should reject this upgrade. If you want a Freedom Unlimited, apply directly (or apply for Freedom Flex for almost the same benefits plus more). I suspect you don't use your Freedom very often, and I think this is Chase criteria -- see if moving less used cards to other brands will increase usage. We sort of think that Chase wants out of the 5% rotating category business, but there are millions and millions of cardholders which is a problem because I think Chase has ran the numbers and those Freedom active cardholders will likely not migrate to other Chase products (and Citi and Capital One still offer 5% category cards).

But you should think in general what cards you use and how frequently because of this note. Get your cards optimized and cards you don't use, product change them to ones you might use.
