Given what I'd paid, room was rather disappointing, ordinary. Nespresso set-up with two bottles of water daily. No turn-down first night, second night only. Positive surprise that they replaced the used coffee pods.
Breakfast main item plus coffee, juice, pastry, with tax and included gratuity on bill used almost entire credit . Generous portions of good food, with s-l-o-w service, small cups requiring visits from server not ideal.
Dinner was a different story with excellent service. Lamb shank first night, roast chicken second night both very good. Ran a bit over the $100 as their mescal cocktail proved amazing! Tried a different cocktail that I truly disliked, manager took it off the bill, I ordered a second mescal instead (at my expense). Gratuity not included at dinner.
Felt I truly overpaid for the room, but food credits and convenient Metro stop next door made up for a lot of that. Strange experience at check-out that clerk not "authorized" to apply a Marriott e-cert herself, required manager involvement.
