I do think that BUR/HNL is a good add. Plenty of O/D for all the LA area airports, Not having to get to/from LAX from the SF and SG valleys (and parts north) is "priceless." One can only hope the flight is properly marketed and given time to gain traction, otherwise it will just end up in the pile of darts that have fallen from the board.
Exactly, there’s plenty of people going to Hawaii (and beyond) from the SFV and SGV and could capture traffic from points north like Palmdale, Santa Clarita, and Bakersfield. Avoiding the LAX “experience” is worth paying the premium to fly from BUR or other LA area airports.
