Shamefully poor in the context of a mailbox is 4 weeks plus.

I'd strongly recommend sitting down with the relevant emails and understanding exactly what they contain and say. Being able to clearly and articulately highlight ambiguity and confusion will help justify a goodwill refund. Ranting and upset will not.
