On one ticket at a mainland airport ? My hunch is yes, that could cause problems at the mainland CX check-in desk.
The Mainland => HK and HK => TPE need to be separate tickets. You should
not reveal the HK TPE segment while in the mainland. Not at the check-in desk, nor at immigration.
