Can anyone here advise me on whether there is any advantage/disadvantage in taking the split booking option (i.e. both purchases separately online vs return leg added by call centre) for business class trip to Tokyo? I'm currently booked on a Reward Flight Saver so maybe no tax difference? If I managed to switch to First (unlikely to get availability but I can hope!) would that change the tax situation (for the split vs single booking?)
