Even if there were no blackout dates, the fact that you left it so late (Christmas is less than 10 weeks away) means that any such availability for credit card flights would have been taken by others a long, long time ago.
Christmas is peak travel season - lots of people will be on the move, and people will be flying back home to Ireland from all over the world and there are enough of them that will lock their travel plans in early to use up any such tickets pretty quickly after they become bookable.
