I wouldn't think so. I don't know if elites have early access though like Qantas do - their platinums have slightly earlier access. Can't remember the time frame off the top of my head but .. so many people have absolutely NO idea about partner awards in NZ because basically - there is ZERO media coverage in NZ about Air NZs FFP. Kind of works in our favour... maybe it's something that should be built into the new tier but, I mean that partner portal is broken so often that I'm not sure I'd call it a benefit! And then if they want to charge you if you call up by phone because their own IT is broken then, that's a big ol' NO from me. It wouldn't entice me at all.

Anyway, probably best to get a person who is gold, silver, koru, jade etc to see what they can see in the partner portal. Compare that to what you see on seats.aero and number of award seats available? or via another *A portal (United/Aeroplan??) or EF? that tells you how many award seats there are. I haven't looked at BA for a while but they used to show how many seats were left. I haven't looked at those websites for a while. I have a friend who is currently gold? (she bounces between koru, gold and elite but doesn't actually give a toss about status), but she wasn't aware of the partner portal before I told her about it but haven't had a chance to show her.
