Indigo Nagasaki vs CP Fukuoka
My main question would be whether it is worth going out of my way to stay at the Hotel Indigo Nagasaki if my only other option is the Crowne Plaza Fukuoka?
Looking a both photos on the IHG web site as well as the respective threads for both hotels, it seems the Nagasaki property is much more quaint, renovated and is in a quiet location.
From where I will be at in December (looking to stay Dec 26-30), flights directly to Fukuoka are half the price of flights to Nagasaki. Also, flying into Fukuoka allows for a possible day trip to Hiroshima (although this is not a must).
(I know rail travel in Japan is great but apprehensive about commuting that way between Nagasaki and Fukuoka if carrying checked bags).
Thanks for any info!
