really need to upgrade my MileUp card to the Plat Select card even though I already have the Exec card and also the Silver card. I get an email almost every week with that “great” offer. I am sure that is going also happen for the Globe card now.

Yeah, my Silver card renews in November. They can’t really force me to pay an extra $150 when they switch it to the Globe card (if that is the plan). I am even somewhat dubious how they can get away with eliminating some key features of the Silver card mid-way through the membership year that I paid a fee for. Perhaps the card switch happens on 2/28/26, but if happens later and people put $20k in spend on the card before the switch, can they then eliminate the spend-based LP bonus?
