Had a quick stay here, rate was over $100AU/night cheaper then the Hyatt Regency.

Check in was quiet in the evening, they try and push you to self check at the kiosks. However, I had a request to update my room type from two twins to a King or Queen and the front desk attendant had to call a supervisor. As a Globalist, received a one category upgrade to King Bed with view. Was not asked, and had no need to request late checkout. Did not receive any bottled water, though maybe that was due to the room swap.

Room is fine, the fit out is something you either love or hate. A bright, vibrant, modern but not exactly luxurious decor. Small room, even smaller bathrooms: but then again the Regency is not much better. View was of Chinatown. No issues with water pressure or air con.

Globalist breakfast was at Talk Shop and allowance was one "Breakfast Package" per person. This was one main, one juice, one coffee, fruit and a pastry. Selection was decent, tasted fine.

Did self check out at a kiosk without fuss.
