For the benefit of newcomers to Marriott global promotions, this happens to a proportion of members every time a promotion is launched. It's been like this for years, and every time it annoys the Bonvoy membership and creates extra work for forum admins. Marriott are aware but seem unable or unwilling to fix the issue.
Standard forum advice is "You are eligible, but need to call in to get registered"
