seems like quite an “upgrade” in annual fees for current Aviator Silver cardholders. My initial reaction was surprise - the benefits seem hardly appealing for that fee level. I am certainly not going to keep the Silver card when it renews in November if this is the replacement, even if they were to migrate me over and kept the AF for the first year. #CouponFatigue
Even for the signup bonus, I would probably get the AA Platinum Select card instead when they have a decent SUB.
AF for Aviator Silver just posted and was on the fence about keeping it with the impending change to Citi, but I think this seals the deal. The $100 splurge credit is weak compared to the Strata Elite and the Turo credit is of no use to me. Who needs yet another card with TSA/GE credit? I sure don't need more coupons to go out of my way to justify using them.
