Yeah it's a bit crazy in some respects - especially since it seems one year of qualified-for elite has effectively turned into three (less one "set" of RU vouchers). TBH some of that is because I've inadvertently gamed the system by waiting until very late in the piece to apply - had I applied back in Jan (when we got the life-changing news!) in theory the hold would have been from Jan 31st.

When first applying I thought it was like you were describing (no benefits, but no worrying about requal for 12 months).
