Frankly seems bizarre that a Status Hold would be anything other than freeze everything at the decided date (no benefits), and 12 month later come back to life. When frozen you should have no benefits at all, and on un-freezing then you'd have a few weeks to either requalify Elite or accept the soft landing to Gold.

Why on earth would you have 1 or 2 years of additional Elite when you won't even make Elite by 30 Oct 2025? Makes utterly no sense to me. Hate to be a grinch, but isn't just either a freeze and no status, or carry on as usual.....??
