New reservations made on other devices don’t show up in the app, and pulling to refresh the trips page does nothing.
The search results “window” sometimes takes 15-30 seconds to load after the spinning wheel goes away, and in the meantime you can hit the search button again (if you thought the search operation failed), eventually resulting in multiple search results windows open.
FaceID for log in no longer works. I get prompted to do it but after it validates nothing happens and I need to enter my password.
The flight status link from any trip is broken. All you get is an infinitely spinning wheel at the bottom, and when you X out of it, the menu bar at the bottom disappears.
A useless message on wheelchair checking now shows up on any trip with a partner airline.
An even more useless “travel” button has shown up in the menu bar at the bottom, displacing the hamburger menu to the top left corner.
Is anyone else experiencing these issues?
I’ve seen the following as well:
- missing reservation
- tapping search appears to do nothing, so tap again (and again) and then all of a sudden you get a barrage of search result screens pop up one on top of the other
But I’m also seeing slower performance in Safari on both iPad and macOS and I think the crack United IT team is breaking things with gratuitous UI flourishes at the expense of functionality and performance. For instance filling out a web form in the year 2025 on a M3 Mac shouldn’t take several seconds. And it didn’t take that long a few years ago, even though the core functionality of the such a form hasn’t changed (departure, arrival, dates, etc.)
For your FaceID issue, perhaps try toggling it off and on?
