For MP Gold and higher you'll get the VA Gold and higher allowance, which is pretty much unchanged - details are here. In general they are not strict on the weight at boarding (as long as it doesn't look too heavy), but they often are at check-in, so if you're checking other bags they might weight your carry-on. If you're not checking bags you can normally skip that step.
