Decided to use cash since the points ask was absurd. The amount was 1000 sek below the minimum ask (excluding EBD boost).

There were 11 seats in Biz at the time I bid. I was put into live bidding at exactly T-24 with six (6) seats remaining. I decided not to raise my bid. Checked day of departure and I was outbid, but still ranked above six (6) so I didn't raise my bid to the new minimum. So maybe ranking does take status into account. Note as this is only the first time I have noticed this and there is other stuff I can't explain about ranking, don't take this data point as gospel.

I have now upgraded enough where I think I start to see patterns, but it is all theory so I will continue to test them out.
