I agree that the Globe is more expensive than it's worth (and the coupons are poor), but the Globe day passes are exempt from day pass restrictions. So if you're the kind of person who wouldn't commit to a membership but who might buy 4 day passes a year (and, based on what I see every time I hang out by the reception at an AC, those kinds of people are insanely prevalent these days), it seems like a semi-attractive offering.
