I bought some $80/btl aged rum x3 bottles at Duty Free at PLS. Will be connecting in CLT and going through customs there. I believe I will have to pick up my checked bag there and transfer it (please let me know if I have to go back out and all the way through security or not; my impression right now is I just transfer the bag and it is checked through). My other questions are regarding the rum. First, do I need to declare it on my customs form, since I bought it in the airport? Secondly, do I need to move the rum into my checked bags to get them through to GSP, my final destination?
