I hate LO MAX too, if I don't have a window aligned with my shoulders, I have no way to sit comfortably without leaning towards the middle seat, which is of course a problem if someone's sitting there. No idea why this is, since I believe they are just as wide as "normal" 737s where I don't experience this issue.
