I didn't find a ton of value until after I also got the Sapphire Preferred because you can't transfer the points directly otherwise. Once I got the other card, I transferred all my points to my Sapphire so I could liquidate them fast if I needed Hyatt points--generally the best value to me. One note: As a free card, there are limitations, such as the card having foreign transaction fees, so use it accordingly, but it's a good one to use for bonus categories.
