I did write an E-Mail to the above address and asked the regulator to ensure that this benefit guaranteed by Asiana Airlines would also apply after the merger. The proposed rule would look like this:

"Lifetime Diamond Plus members will be converted to Lifetime Morning Calm Premium Lifetime Membership. If customer had reached Asiana Lifetime Diamond Plus before 2019-01-01, he and one guest will be able to access Korean Air First Class Lounges or the Korean Air Miler Club when departing on a Korean Air flight in any class of travel."

And of course a corresponding rule for Platinums.
