To add to my previous post - MIA so far has been amazing, Cindy (Concorde team) at checkin was a delight! She asked if id like to be brought from the lounge to the gate for G0 boarding. Now the lounge… wow! This is definatley going to be THE gem at MIA, unfortunately it will be a shame for those who are flying with AA as I had seen at least 4 people come to the desk to get in and they were politely refused. Looks like BA is keeping to its BA customers only just like Dubai. Can’t wait to come back for my next visit.
Well, plus its quite a long walk if you were flying on AA in "D" to walk all the way to E24 to get turned away. At least you burned up some calories.
And Ill note, Miami is probably one of the worst places in the AA network where anybody and everybody tries to get into the lounges. Hey - I'm flying in First from Miami to Gainesville. Where is the Dom P????? The level of self-flagellation and acrimony at the D-30 and D-12 check in desks are without equal.
