Delta had a 12% YoY increase in AMEX renumeration to $2B for the quarter. Nothing new with AMEX from them.
Of note, the word "premium" was mentioned 77 Times in the Delta call, compared to 30 times in the AMEX conference call.
Makes sense. Originally, I thought that if there was going to be an introduction of a new DL card, they'd do it in the same year as the Platinum refresh because of the partnership and in case people wanted to shuffle around their cards. But I guess that's not that important to them.
Either way, hoping for some news soon.
