Mostly Asian (I assume) tourists, sometimes with a couple of good sized pieces of luggage.

And you can always get a taxi from BTS to a hotel, though I generally just hoof it
Thanks, I may book a Grab from my final BTS station like you suggest; not 100% certain which hotel I’m using (I have two refundable, speculative bookings) so I don’t know what I’ll ultimately end up doing. Like you I prefer hoofing it as long as it’s not raining or “too long” (which can be completely subjective) to my hotel. 15 mins is probably the max for me but 10 or less is preferred.
