Is "B" better or worse than "D" (I think RIC scammed me)) and Ultimate Choice was back (even had my name on the board for a change!) -- agent at the exit gate was the most friendly Hertz Richmond employee I've had in a long time and said that they just restarted Ultimate Choice on Friday (i.e. 10-October-2025).
Hopefully local management got either some sense knocked into them by higher ups or got replaced (I know from ~2020-2024 local management seemed to be a bit of a revolving door, no idea if that has settled down)
I'm sure the hammering of negative Google Maps reviews didn't help. I did the survey to document my poor experience with a lot of freetext field description on how I felt let down; although I didn't hear anything back, I'm glad to hear the experience is improving as I'll be back in RIC in a few weeks.
