I have chosen 4 CSU Certs so far.

• Attempt 1 at IC Sanctuary Cove in Aus for 2 nights was rejected despite all grades of suite showing availability. I had 2 previous nights in a suite using a FWNC. On check in they UG the whole stay to the same suite room.
• Was staying in a suite at The Holiday Inn and Suites Makati Philippines. We needed to extend one more night due to weather for driving on checkout day. The hotel is legendarily stingy and offered a Junior Suite. Fortunately we know senior staff and with some effort on their behalf we kept the same suite. We were still in the cancellation window.
• Rapidly expiring Cert so applied succesfully to a 2 night stay at IC The George Edinburgh for very off peak dates. Allocated a Junior Suite that was a worst layout and view than my normal AMB UG! Free MiniBar which I really did not need....
• IC Chiang Mai applied for the full 5 nights and UG confirmed 7 nights out. We had an additional night booked on points as we were considering routing to Singapore via Bangkok. At check in they confirmed the suite for all 6 nights. I changed the 6th night from points to cash. Great stay and loved Chiang Mai.
• IC Singapore (RIP) - UG to Junior Suite. Confirmed 7 days in advance. TBF felt more like a full suite.

Generally positive experience. I still have one CSU in my wallet. Can chose another one next week but likely to chose F&B to feed the kids at The IC Sanctuary Cove early next year. My cash screams at me for spending money on pizza and chips. LOL

I will likely trigger another CSU by late Feb 2026 anyway.
