The ibis rooms are slightly larger than the standard Mercure rooms (but the Mercure superior and loft rooms are larger still), and the loft Mercure rooms require some dexterity and the mattress is on the floor. The ibis also has family and triple rooms the Mercure doesn't, if you are travelling in numbers. Otherwise, I'm not really sure why you'd consider the ibis if they are similarly priced.
thx for replying. i consider ibis because
1. i check is more near to MRT 350m rather that mercure bugis to MRT 450m (yes not much)
2. bigger size 18m2 unless hotel can upgrade me to superior 22m2 (don't like loft in mercure bugis)
3. hotel have room new decoration, i check at review mercure bugis lack of maintenance such mold, etc
4. last but not least i check review staff in there rude, no smile, greeting, etc
but yes as platinum member i can get lounge access to mercure bugis. please give me your tough, if you disagree with my opinion thx
