Typical AA - cheap out and fail on the execution. What should be a great commemoration of a fascinating corporate history is tarnished by cheapness and halfassery. (But spend the time and money to trademark the most boring of the 50 shades of grey: Silver Eagle!)

The vast majority of customers aren't going to notice the difference. Spending a lot of extra money for minimal gain is not a good use of resources IME. Given AA has zero widebody slack, adding time to strip it down and introducing a special corrosion management and mechanical integrity process for a fleet of 1 is far more trouble than it is worth.
