The Hyatt Centric was an enjoyable experience that seems like an absolute steal at Cat 1 award prices. I enjoyed my 3-night stay, and here are my impressions and photos:

Pros:

• Room is attractively designed
• Bed is comfortable - medium slightly plush mattress, covers of good plushness for climate, plush pillows
• Shower pressure is good - misty wand is strong enough and pleasant
• Offered 4 PM checkout proactively
• Breakfast is good - great fresh roti station and good omelets
• Given plenty of bottled water in the room
• Greeted by friendly GM at arrival
• Good Toto washlet

Neutral:

• Upgraded to “Corner” Premium, but the corner window was a tiny section in the bathroom facing an exit stairwell - there weren’t studios, but the fact that this hotel categorizes their suites as premium is not great to me

Cons:

• Nothing really - besides the upgrade paradigm
