I think this BIK conversation needs to also look at the TPs in a wider context. Given a large proportion of FTers (myself included) receive a substantial number of Avios/TPs and therefore status through work related flights, is it more than likely they too would also qualify as BIK? I seem to remember many years ago, the Australian govt at the time was thinking of, or perhaps even did introduce a BIK - or FBT as they call it - on points earned flying for business.
