Maybe I was unclear, sorry about that. It's an AA marketed itinerary and it includes one leg operated by BA. For that one, I cannot select seats on AA, and on BA I can find the ticket but it tells me I can either wait until check-in or call any pay to book in advance. Despite the ticket being Main Cabin which should include standard seats selection, at least on AA it does.
