Booked 1 queen standard, received the same.

How are the rooms?
The room seemed more modern than other HIX “Next Generation” rooms, with both type-A and type-C USB on most outlets (and the type-C outlet was powerful enough for my laptop). The room was clean with a window looking over a nearby trail.

How is the exec. lounge?
N/A

What was good and what was bad?
The good:
- Good location considering the price during conventions
- An actual bar to use the drink vouchers

The bad:
- Housekeeping not available after 12pm

The ugly:
- Front desk declined to offer late checkout, claiming that the hotel was full even when shown otherwise in the IHG app
- Wi-Fi is not encrypted

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Booked with points during a convention in Nuremberg and that HI Nuremberg had no availability. Might try HI Nuremberg if in the area next time.
