Would very much agree - the hotel is lovely with a "French Old Colonial" theme. The welcome note you received said you should have received breakfast ( If I recall a large buffett style ). Glad to see that SAM is still there, he is very professional and should be the GM somewhere ( I assume that there still is no GM! )

The only thing that we could fault was the slight noise from the nightclub next door ( but they do a good show on an evening - fire dance ) and the drive to the hotel from the main road - we though at first we were going somewhere most undesirable ... The Rabbit Hole bar very close is also good for food! Glad you enjoyed.

Did you take the free shuttle to the other beach area ? We did not as the beach in front of the hotel was lovely and very clean!
