There indeed are two separate counters (XP and UXP) however they reset at different times. My member year is from September 1st to end of August, so the XP counter resets on August 31 like you would expect. But the UXP counter resets on December 31....it did not get reset in August.

The issue being that if Ulti qualification is based on UXP earned in the member year (September-August in my case), then the UXP counter in the profile isn't the right representation of that. Since that shows all UXP collected since January 1st..
