Thank you. So I noticed that I could actually book a flight for several months out using the FFC even though it says "begin travel by" later this week.
I've now booked a flight for next July, hoping that I can maybe change it later.
However, when I look at my trip on the website, it now says "Ticket status: ticketed Oct 2024" so clearly it is still recognized as my old ticket in the system.
This makes me worried as the fare rules clearly say “TRAVEL MUST BEGIN WITHIN ONE YEAR OF THE ORIGINAL TICKET ISSUE DATE.”
Is there a chance they cancel this new ticket (even though it was just issued)? Or is this new ticket safe, but then I won't be able to change it later on?
