it is reasonable to claim for a taxi from BA under their duty of care?
it appears none of our travel insurance policies will cover it as the delay is less than 12 hours.
BA do not have a "duty of care" to you once you walk through the arrivals doors at your ticketed destination airport. Your UK261 delay compensation should cover the cost of your taxi unless it a very long distance. If there is an extraordinary circumstances get-out, they might pay for a taxi as a gesture of goodwill, but it won't be an obligation.
