This does sound like an offer that is basically a stupidity check. A $20 travel voucher (big deal???) but forfeiting EBCI or seat upgrade payments?? Why would anyone bother? Time and resources are being wasted sending out emails like this to passengers. Not only is the answer almost universally going to be NO, but it just further cements passenger dissatisfaction with the present trends now being seen in many areas of SWA's new business model.
