Yes, I sent them another "feedback" about this. They say the renewal is on 31 October 2026. I can also see my current expiry is 31 Oct 2026 on the TK app, but not on the website (which simply says 10/26). They have further confirmed a 2 year extension beyond the current period. Protection is based on the first year's (M1-12) activities, not M5-12, on a total 42K status miles balance.
Oh that gives hope. As said I will see where I end up in 1-2 days. I have 37.7k status miles from M1-12, so if this stands, I should be safe.
