Well, I have exactly three Bonvoy stays already booked (in Thailand) during the promo period which will get me the full allotment of bonus points plus my stacked targeted 10 useless bonus EQNs.

Already booked before either bonus appeared on my app. None of this motivates a change in behaviour or additional bookings so what, we wonder, is the purpose?
