11.7 oz Hair Spray in checked baggage
Does Air Canada have a different policy with regard to approx 12 oz cans of women’s hair spray compared to USA based airlines?

We primarily fly Southwest Airlines but today we wanted to go to YUL on AC. We were asked if we had hair spray. Upon showing the can to the agent in Denver, she said this can could not go in checked baggage. We checked our bags, but this can was too big to be a carry on, so TSA took it

Does Canada have a different rules about this compared to the United States or was this gate agent wrong?
