I have a question about the $15 per month Amex Platinum Uber credit. I have a $150ish Uber Gift Card balance on my Uber account. If I have the $15 credit in my account and spend say $25 on Uber (a ride, Uber eats, etc). Does Uber "take" the $15 Amex Platinum Uber credit, first THEN take the remaining $10 from my AMEX card or from $150ish Uber Gift Card balance on my Uber account? I know there are some exclusions (say fees, surcharges etc) that cannot be charged against the $15 Amex Platinum Uber credit, so assume for this example that the spend of $25 is just the straight up "cost" of the Uber/Uber Eats item/ride. Obviously, I'd like to spend the $15 Amex Platinum Uber credit first before dipping into the 150ish Uber Gift Card balance (or AMEX, for that matter).

I took AMEX up on the Uber One benefit. Having only just started using Uber (in light of the $15 Amex Platinum Uber credit benefit and getting the gift cards), I'm clueless as to the pros and cons of Uber One. It basically for now just seems to be offer after offer to buy something using Uber Eats or take a ride for the promise of some future discount.
