I guess amex and Uber are still working through the kinks of this new credit.
well, took them months to figure out how to actually enforce the ‘you must have your Amex card as the payment method to use your Amex plat credits’.
im also concerned about Uber One pricing, as I’ve heard lots of anecdotal reports. Truth is, we do use Uber (and/or Lyft) a couple of times a month as needed. When ordering food, I only use Uber Eats if there is a promo good enough to make it worth using…I hate paying inflated delivery fees, so even when using I’ll almost always use the pickup option unless I’m really lazy that day or don’t have another good option - but usually I’ll order direct from the restaurant since it’s usually less expensive. Also much easier to deal with any issues that way. Yes, Uber will usually eventually deal with it ok, but it always takes multiple ways of me finagling in the app to get to the place where I can get a chat going, and while they often respond relatively quick, it usually takes me explaining the same thing multiple times to get it resolved.
but I am concerned about how pricing is affected.
