On my flights to/from Europe I always chose 40C. During service there's some bumping into the legs, but since the flights are overnight, it's not a real issue for the time where I want to relax. I prefer the extra legroom and being able to easily get out whenever I want, not a good sleeper in planes and usually have to go to the toilet quite a bit, so window is not an option.
Thanks for your insights. 43A/K are technically "window" seats although there doesn't seem to be a window in that aisle due to the emergency exit doors. However, there is a lot of open space in front of row 43, so getting in and out of the "window" seat without assistance should not be a problem. I was just wondering how much a problem potential loitering in that area might be.
