Sorry to dig up an old thread, I've realised now that 'in town' check in isn't in place for Finnair any more (It's been a while since I last visited HKG).

Does anyone know what time Finnair's check in desks at HKG open? I'm on a 2145 flight out next month.

I fly in to Hong Kong the previous day with CX... annoyingly am due to land at 2130 - does anyone know if CX might consider through checking for a 24:15 stopover/connection (separate tickets), or is this likely impossible?

If so would be able to just take hand luggage with me for my short layover and not have to worry about re-checking in...
