Then Group 2 (which you should be as SEN) boards through a completely different side of the gate than the latter groups, so they’ll wave you through.
They do busily scrutinise groups 3 and above regarding their carry-on, but I think that’s more a mandate from LH Group than the gate staff getting their jollies.
If it's anything like Ryanair, maybe they get commission for each pax they manage to clobber. Enough for a couple of large packs of Smarties!
Anyway, this is good news because I feel bidding for a Business upgrade is a bit of a waste for a flight which leaves at 08h55.
