I will shortly have a flight from LHR to GVA and, probably rather stupidly, booked a Basic fare. I'm going to have my business rucksack, which isn't very big, and a soft holdall which would definitely fit into an overhead bin. As a newly minted SEN, will they cut me any slack ? Should I try to place a bid for an upgrade to Business class?
