Rejected people should file a formal complaint directly with Lufthansa. The entire status-match process was handled in a chaotic and inconsistent manner. Hundreds of people (notably many from China) were granted status using freshly created Volare and M&M accounts with no actual flights — and in many cases those status grants were evidently prepared on the basis of fake data. At the same time, numerous legitimate applicants were rejected without a explanation.
STATUSMATCH says that, according to their systems, these applicants “do not hold status” and refuses to conduct any further verification. As the contracting partner, Lufthansa has right to be informed about how unprofessionally STATUSMATCH.com executed this procedure and about the damage this has caused to the credibility of the program.
